Strange to think we've come this far
Without losing who we are
We've been friends for nearly eight years now
Others have stopped and wondered "How?"
At the beginning, it seemed unlikely
But here we are, coexisting happily.
Back when you were Starbuck and I just Shawna,
Way back before I became the Na-
'Keep your balls to yourself!' int the bowling hall
Strange, from that point, how the pieces did fall.
To everyone else, the shell of a coldhearted cynic-
Only a few know the warm heart you hide within it.
We've stood through tough trials and emerged on the other side
Together we've come, both along for the ride.
You taught me to roleplay, and taught me about friendship-
Long nights spent in the top of Am's attic.
Hit some tough spots in this last year-
But we came through in the end, with nothing to fear.
You are my sister, a true kindred soul
Without you, I'm simply not whole.
I'm made up of fractions, all my friends are a shard-
And you make up so much, being without you is hard.
Amy Lee Smith, this poem's for you.

Aww, Shawna-na, I'm speechless AND crying ::huggles:: Thank you so much
Like an itch that keeps coming back.

I cannot stay here, I cannot leave- just like all I loved, I'm make believe. Imagined heart, I disappear- seems no one will appear here and make me real...

A show is:
Four months of hard work
Three nights of glory
Two minor disasters opening night
One lifetime of memories
